29 Apr We’re Getting A New Minibus – A Lifeline For Children In Mayuge
We are beyond excited to share some wonderful news: we are in the process of buying a new minibus! We want to say a special thank you to the incredible generosity of Morgan James Consulting, Sunflower Group, Sky High Achievers, C4Care, R-Com, Lorgros, Bermans LLC, Dave Fishwick as well as all others who have made this happen.
For those unfamiliar with the realities of life in Mayuge district, transport is one of the most significant daily barriers facing the children and families we serve. Roads can be unsafe, distances are long, and reliable transport is simply not available for most people. Our current minibus has been in need of a replacement for a long time. Breakdowns, repairs, and the constant worry of whether it would make the journey have been part of daily life for our team. Despite everyone’s best efforts to keep it going, the time has come – and thanks to the most extraordinary generosity, we are finally getting a replacement.
This isn’t just a new vehicle. It’s reliability. It’s safety. It’s knowing that children and young mums will actually get where they need to go.
A working, reliable bus changes everything. It is the thing that connects children and vulnerable young mothers to our education centre and school – to learning, to support, to opportunity.
We are so grateful to the incredible team who made this happen. To everyone who donated, supported, and shared – thank you. You are making a real, lasting difference and are truly changing so many lives.
